Axis Engineering is dedicated to designing and developing assembly solutions, metal forming and inspection fixtures.

To help us drive excellence, as an Electrician you’ll get to:

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
• Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Test malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other personnel from other affected departments including production, maintenance and tool room to diagnose malfunction.
• Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.
• Diagnose and repair or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
• Replace electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
• Able and willing to work any shift assigned.
• Able to travel up to 50% ** __**

This full-time role is a part of our Maintenance Department and reports to the Plant Manager ****

Required Skills & Abilities:

· Ability to troubleshoot equipment/machinery

· Knowledge of / Proficient in:

o Blue Print Reading

o Electrical systems

• Ability to multitask

• Natural problem solver.

• Ability and willingness to learn.

• Adaptive to a fast paced environment.

• Ability to work with the following software packages or programs:

o Microsoft Office

o Effective email and electronic communication skills are required

Education and/or Experience:

· Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or three plus years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Journeyman Certification preferred ****
