Material Handler (Waterspider) – 1st Shift (6a-230p)

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

· Move materials inside and outside of the plant as required using forklifts, carts, pallet jacks

· Fill nut feeders/part shoots as needed

· Remove all empty WIP totes from the flow racks

· Fill all flow racks and market tables with the proper parts

· Service all welders even the ones that do not tun or are running overtime

· Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, flow racks, or lifting device

· Ensures all containers are placed at workstations as required in order to make sure assembly cells are running accordingly

· Make sure all totes have part ID on them and face out

· Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules as needed or directed

· Contribute in efforts to maintain clean and safe work environment including 5S

· Check fluid levels, change LP tanks using proper PPE and charge truck batteries based on policy

This full-time, hourly, role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Production Supervisor.

We have some daily and weekend overtime.

Required experience:

· Forklift Experience in a production/manufacturing setting is preferred.
