    As a Sr. Benefits Analyst you would be accountable for the plan administration of group health and welfare benefit programs for the organization. This role reports to the Payroll and Benefits Manager.

    • Maintains plan records and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.
    • Partner with vendors and HR management regarding plan design, record structure, payments, and implementation.
    • Consult and advise Associates on eligibility and provisions related to health and welfare plans.
    • Responsible for reviewing and maintaining plan documents and summary plan description.
    • Coordinate health and welfare plan activities with other departments to promote efficiencies for low-cost administrative services.
    • Ensure correct eligibility is transmitted to various vendors and administrators.
    • Maintain benefits records, documents, and eligibility reporting structure.
    • Track, analyze and maintain Associate plan cost data.
    • Support collective bargaining process with cost analysis data and benefit plan recommendations.
    • Assist with development and distribution of benefit communications including employee presentations.
    • Collaborate on special projects such as open enrollment, audits, and new benefits programs.

    SUCCESS FACTORS

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent health and welfare plans experience.
    • Must have 3+ years of experience in the administration of health and welfare plans or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience in a mid/large manufacturing organization is desirable.
    • Knowledge of health and welfare plan administration; Wellness Program a plus.
    • Hands-on skills with the management of health and welfare plans.
    • Exhibit experience with 3rd party health and welfare vendor management.
    • Comprehension of Federal, and State health and welfare plans laws.
    • Ability to effectively multi-task, demonstrate flexibility, time management, and meet deadlines.
    • Exhibit professional verbal/written communication with internal/external customers and vendors.
    • Proficiency with MSOffice, various HRIS, and health and welfare vendor systems.
    • Professional CEBS certification a plus.
