    STG International is seeking qualified candidates to work full-time as a Public Relations and Fundraising Manager in Bethesda, MD 

     

    Minimum duties may include but are not limited to:

    • -Plan, direct, or coordinate activities designed to create or maintain a favorable public image or raise issue awareness for their organization or client;
    • -or if engaged in fundraising, plan, direct, or coordinate activities to solicit and maintain funds for special projects or nonprofit organizations.
    • -Leading and managing a staff of senior health professionals, communication experts, and expert consultants;
    • -responsible for all agency reports, publications, calls to action, Congressional mandates, and President/White House initiatives correspondences that impact the federal population in occupational health & research;
    • -chief partnership liaison with other Department of Health & Human Services senior leaders and political appointees ensuring continuity of communications and messaging across the Department with health communications for occupational health;
    • -leading and managing all health communications projects to include marketing existing programs, branding of new products;
    • -chief writer and editor for all agency correspondence to include speech writing, presentations, and videos for the FOH Director, Senior Executive;
    • -directing and overseeing internal communication programs to foster and build a culture of health, open dialogue, and engaged work environment;
    • -coordinating and collaborating with other senior leaders within FOH to expand health integration across division;
    • -providing oversight and management of market and public opinion research in order to assess program outcomes;
    • -counsels with senior leaders/top management on effective communication strategies;
    • -leading and directing the work of others with creativity, latitude, and flexibility;
    • -reporting directly to the FOH Director, Senior Executive. Planning, developing, coordinating and implementing activities of services;
    • -providing orientation and training to new providers;
    • -providing communication to staff on new policies or changes in old policies or procedures;
    • -ensuring all programs are staffed according to scope of work and that work schedules are modified to meet fluctuating workloads;
    • -implementing or coordinating activities;
    • -coordinating and scheduling fairs and health screenings;
    • -evaluating health risk assessments;
    • -designing and implementing health educator programs. Promoting and marketing wellness programs effectively to target populations by utilizing existing resources;
    • -coordinating health promotion/education events;
    • -delivering on-site health education seminars;
    • -developing wellness campaigns;
    • -evaluating risk assessment data;
    • -promoting and delivering virtual health coaching;
    • -contributing to the business planning and health promotion/wellness intervention process.
    • -Identifying potential business, creating relationships and partners with customer agencies and negotiating program details and agreements working with product development, marketing and/or sales group to align with FOH growth strategy.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • -Bachelor’s degree in health related field or business
    • -Five years' experience in occupational health field. Must possess a current CPR/AED certification
