Robotic Technician Leader

To help us drive excellence, as a Robotic Engineer you’ll get to:

· Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.

· Review and resolve all weld cut and etch and destruct related issues.

· Participate in cross-functional equipment design reviews.

· Support new model launches and improvement teams.

· Support tool tryouts at supplier and in-house capability runs.

· Participate in cross-functional and program management team activities.

· Ensure utilization of continuous improvement of current processes.

· Program robots, pedestal welders, and all other types of welding related equipment.

· Responsible for Run at Rates with customers as well as cycle time requirements.

· Troubleshoot Technical/Mechanical concerns on equipment and support other skilled trades as required.

This full-time role is a part of our Robotics team and reports to the Operations Manager

Required education & experience:

· Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required skills & Abilities:

· Understanding of FANUC, Motoman & ABB robots

· Coordinate/Direct Autokiniton Robot Techs

· Place and work with outside contract Robot Techs

· Coordinate with Management on work assignments

· Advanced robot path programming skills

· Advanced cycle time improvements

· Advanced MIG weld and Spot weld, material handling experience

· ATI set up and programming

Preferred additional skills & abilities:

· Ability to work with Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
