To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:
- Provide direction and leadership to department colleagues consistent with plant and department business plan goals.
- Develop, drive and support plant activities toward achieving customer and quality awards (ex. IAFT16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Interface with customers and suppliers, as needed.
- Direct materials department process improvements, corrective actions and team problem solving activities.
- This role has direct reports and is part of the Plant Leadership Team, reporting to the Plant Mgr.
Required experience:
- Expertise in Supply Chain management and inventory control processes.
- Minimum five to seven years’ experience as a Materials Manager, preferably in a metal stamping environment.
- Possess knowledge of pant department functions, corresponding roles and interact to facilitate overall plant synergy.
