  • Responsibilities

    STG International is accepting resumes for Personnel Assistant to work Full Time supporting the Administrative Office of the United States Courts in Washington, DC. THIS POSTING IS FOR FUTURE OPENINGS – NO CURRENTLY AVAILABLE POSITIONS.

    Performs human resources administrative, operational and/or analytical duties to ensure all functions associated with processing human resources transactions (includes verifying retirement coverage, life insurance, health insurance, thrift savings plan and verifying creditable service) are completed accurately, correctly, and in a timely fashion to meet personnel and payroll cycles.

    Integrates input from various sources to create a cohesive product.

    GENERAL EXPERIENCE is experience in processing actions (includes benefits, and/or processing personnel/pay transactions) into an enterprise-wide automated application. This type of work includes using analytical skills and logical thinking to respond to customer inquiries. The ability to interpret written HR regulations/policies, manuals and guides to make decisions and aid the HR specialist in performing daily tasks.

    Required Skills

    Candidates must posses the following skills: 

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is experience processing federal personnel actions, demonstrating an understanding of federal civilian human resources terminology, and experience processing new hires, transfers, benefits, and other personnel actions that generate a Standard Form 50. Practical knowledge of and performing duties in one or more personnel management functions such as: staffing, auditing, and benefit processing.

    Required Experience

    Candidates must posses the following skills: 

    EDUCATION: A high school diploma or GED is required.

    EXPERIENCE:

    A total of three (3) years-experience is required for this position.

    Two (2) years of experience must be specialized experience.

    The remainder may be general or specialized experience.
