    STGI is currently seeking a full-time Employee Development Specialist to support the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts in Washington, DC. 

    This posting is for future openings – no current open position. 

    Duties include, but are not limited to the following: 

     IT Software and Development 

    Deliver interactive online learning to LMS administrators on system administration functions. This consists of, but is not limited to, a specific curriculum named Learning Center Administration (LCA) which consists of: delivering weekly online synchronous sessions to 15-20 students; working one-on-one with the students to review homework assignments; grading final exams to ensure accomplishment of learning objectives; and, supporting LMS administrators after completion of the basic course work. The contractor, in conjunction with designated AOUSC personnel, shall hold regularly scheduled meetings to assess and evaluate the progress of learning and the contractor shall provide multiple options for improving and building additional curricula in order to provide LMS administrators with an environment of continuous learning. The contractor shall provide and follow a project plan(s) that details tasks and deadlines for each training session offered. 

    LMS Administration and Support 

    Provide LMS system administration for a global organization including, but not limited to, troubleshooting all functional operations of the hosted LMS product; LMS troubleshooting assistance to client organizations administering their local domains in the LMS; monitor system performance in two environments of the LMS (development and production); submit support tickets to the LMS vendor's Support Unit; follow-up on support tickets to ensure satisfactory completion of requests; escalate LMS vendor service on support tickets as necessary to ensure satisfactory completion of requests; and, communicate with client organizations, i.e., provide information about system availability, issues, and downtime. The contractor shall provide and follow a project plan(s) that details tasks and deadlines and meet regularly with OHR-TSO staff to review work as it is completed. 

    AO Academy Administration and Support: 

    Provide administrative support and class development including, but not limited to, enrollment; class delivery; evaluation to ensure satisfaction with aforementioned courses related to HR competencies; online module development for interactive classes; writing of lesson plans; scheduling and roster management; classroom set-up and breakdown; evaluation reports; and communication with various departments and units within the agency to ensure agency needs are being met.

    • A total of five (5) years experience is required for this position. Two (2) years must be specialized experience. The remainder may be specialized or general experience.
    • Experience specializing in organizing and administering employee training and development programs which includes the organization, logistical support, and administration of the full employee training process from design through program evaluation
