    • Support the Company's mission, vision, values and goals in performance of daily activities.
    • Provide direction and leadership consistent with plant business plan goals as a member of the plant Leadership Team.
    • Manage and drive all plant environmental, health, safety compliance and management functions and activities. Maintain communications with Corporate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) employees.
    • Using data analysis methods; develop and maintain annual strategic improvement plans targeted at driving safety performance and achieving leading indicator goals established by AGG Leadership.
    • Drive clear responsibilities for environmental, health, and safety performance requirements.
    • Responsible for ensuring all employees have the necessary safety and environmental training, tools and materials to perform their tasks and responsibilities safely and efficiently.
    • Support and maintain plant wide standards for 5 s.
    • Systematically develop and implement strategic actions to reduce work related injuries and illnesses (e.g. ergonomic process, layered process auditing, behavior based safety process).
    • Lead environmental compliance activities including, but not limited to: compiling emissions inventories, assisting in preparing and submitting permit certifications and other required compliance reports, permit applications, compliance strategy, organizing and participating in emissions monitoring activities, reviewing and reporting emissions data, general training, coordinating responses to regulatory agency requests and enforcement actions with Corporate EHS.

    This full-time, salary role is a part of our Avon team and reports to the Plant Manager.

    Required experience:

    • Bachelors Degree in a safety related field or environmental science
    • Professional Safety or Environmental certification (CSP, CHMM) preferred
    • Minimum of five (5) or more years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing plant environment
    • Specific knowledge in several environmental, health, and safety processes and practices (OSHA) and state requirements, ergonomics, (ISO 14001, etc.)

  • Qualifications
    • Minimum of two (2) years of current clinical experience working in a similar environment. Outpatient clinical and/or other hospital experience preferred (Medical-Surgical, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room, or other hospital experience preferred).
    • Knowledge of basic methods and procedures and complex methods for coordinating and scheduling clinical care.
    • Thorough knowledge of the variations in anatomy.
    • Knowledge and ability to apply the practical nursing principles, procedures and techniques.
    • Ability to assess patient condition, recognizes adverse signs and symptoms, and reacts swiftly in emergency situations.
    • Ability to follow orders and works under close supervision, while demonstrating initiative and independence.
    • Ability to provide, as directed by the provider, individualized and group counseling, guidance, and health instruction with the focus on disease prevention and health maintenance.
    • Ability to provide educational material to patients and/or families regarding proper home health care activities, such as giving injections, taking blood pressures, changing wound dressings, etc.
    • Knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment, including desired effects, side effects, complications, and patient usage considerations.
    • Knowledge of the basic concepts of customer service technique related to age-specific population.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette.
    • Knowledge of specialized terminology associated with the work in the facility and in-depth knowledge of the terminology used in Primary Care Practice.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, Electronic Medical Records and computer maneuverability.
    • Must have exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations.
    • Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
