    JOB SUMMARY

We are an independently owned and operated family Signarama store that is part of a franchise that is backed by over 30 years of experience and over 900 locations worldwide. We are a full service, custom sign shop that provides quality products and services to our customers.

    We are currently looking for team members that can focus on our customers. He/she must be a team player who will learn to assess customer signage needs and utilize developed knowledge to suggest solutions and create quotes as well as supporting the stores online marketing program and managing our customer satisfaction program. Must be a self-motivator and take pride in the Signarama team.

    Pay is hourly but also includes bonus potential.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    The ideal candidate for this position likes people, interacting and talking with them and also has proficient computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). He/she must have fluent English speaking and writing skills and strong mastery of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading rules. In addition, he/she must have a good understanding of marketing strategies, basic sales and telemarketing tactics and excellent communication and customer service skills. Previous customer facing jobs is a plus!

    • Responds efficiently to all walk-in customers and telephone inquiries to determine sign needs, provide recommendations and quotes, and help with the order process
    • Executes in-house direct mailings (networking groups, clubs/organizations/associations, and no activity members)
    • Works closely with the Production Area to answer any questions they may have concerning current work orders
    • Maintains a good working relationship with vendors to obtain quotes and best pricing, and to follow up on orders in process
    • Makes calls to generate new business and maintains and updates lists of prospective customers and referrals
    • Makes calls to direct mail recipients, existing customers and new business listings.
    • Supports owner at all times, handling all paperwork and generating POS accounting reports as requested
    • Obtains referrals, enters all information into the POS/Accounting system, and provides follow up with all referrals in a systematic/organized fashion
    • Cross trains in other areas of the store to maintain a fully functional staff at all times
    • Maintains an organized, clean, and professional store appearance at all times
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Previous marketing or advertising experience a plus. Marketing degree obtained or in pursuit a plus.
    • Previous sales and/or customer account management experience a plus
    • Computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
    • Spelling, grammar, punctuation competencies.
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
    • Strong customer service skills and abilities
    • Outstanding phone skills
    • Prompt, reliable, and responsible with evident self-motivation
    • Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
    • Able to operate a computer and monitor for long periods of time

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time - Full time includes paid time off and holidays, health and dental benefits and 401k

    Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour plus quarterly bonus potential
