A thriving economy in space is needed to make life on earth more vibrant, sustainable, and equitable. STOKE was founded to build the systems that enable that outcome through a seamlessly connected earth and space.
DESCRIPTION
Reusable systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space, and the ability to manufacture and iterate quickly is necessary to make reusable systems a reality. As the lead automation engineer at an early-stage start-up, you will own all aspects of design, analysis, test, and fabrication of mechatronic systems used for production and assembly of reusable launch vehicle stages. You will work closely with the vehicle design and manufacturing team through all phases of the design lifecycle. You will seek out state-of-the-art design and manufacturing techniques and tools to solve challenging problems, and you will continuously iterate and improve your designs. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
