We are actively looking for a full time Extrusion Operator in Manchester New Hampshire
You will be operating plastics extrusion equipment in a safe and efficient manner; including line set ups, changeovers, start-ups, and operation. Insure preparation, startup, operation, preventative maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, and insure the manufacture of quality products that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Pay is $20-25 an hour
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department.
• Perform department Preventative Maintenance assignments.
• Perform all extrusion line set ups, changeovers, start-ups, and continuous operation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of extrusion machinery and plastics processes.
• Comply with standard operating procedures, control plans, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Comply with Quality Standard ISO/TS 16949, and Environmental Standard ISO 14001.
• Monitor and insure quality of work in process, semi finished, and finished products in accordance with control plan specifications.
• Participate in 6S initiatives pertaining to departmental cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Participate in Six Sigma and Lean initiatives in order to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accuracy in production reporting, downtime, sampling, and data entry.
• Interface and cooperate with other departments, to include cross training, and secondary job certification.
