    The role 

    The Sales Development Representative (SDR/BDR) will generate new business opportunities by following proven processes to prospect into business accounts. You’ll learn how to identify and research lists of companies to target, and how to develop email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities. 

    The SDR will conduct high-level conversations with senior executives about their business and marketing issues and operations. The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team. This position has advancement potential within the Sales organization, and the compensation package includes an uncapped commission structure.

    THIS POSITION IS REMOTE. PREFERRED CANDIDATE IN THE NEW YORK STATE AREA.

    Compensation: Base of $36,000 with bonuses and commission. Expectations of $45k+ first year with growth potential.

    Responsibilities

    • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities

    • Strategize with leaders of Sales and Marketing teams for campaigns

    • Engage with sales reps to schedule meetings, create new email sequences and find new prospects

    • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects through calls, sequences and meetings

    • Leverage CRM tools to prospect into specific geographic territories

    • Grow the processes of the SDR role and become team leader as more SDR’s are needed.

    Requirements

    • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in software sales

    • 2+ years sales or related market/business experience

    • Candidates should have one of the following: software/saas experience, sales experience, appointment setting or other related business experience

    • Zendesk Sell, Hubspot or Salesforce experience a plus

    • Passion or knowledge of any of the following industry sectors a plus: Visitor Destinations, Museums, Historic Sites, Tourism, National Parks and US Forests
