    STRIDE is a premium, boutique treadmill studio experience offering coached indoor running/walking classes. All classes are led by expert, certified trainers in a supportive and empowering environment with state-of-the-art equipment and electrifying music. We are the first and only indoor running franchise. Our VisionSTRIDE aims to create a space where running and walking are understood at all levels to be an essential mode of fitness and recognized by everyone as one of the easiest, most engaging and effective ways to achieve one's mental and physical goals.Our TreadmillsSTRIDE is proud to feature the Woodway treadmill, known as the world’s finest treadmill, in every studio. It is the only treadmill used by professional US sport teams including the NFL, NBA, NHL etc. It features revolutionary and patented technology, allowing users to have a running experience unlike any other.Our Parent Company | Xponential FitnessXponential Fitness, the largest curator of boutique fitness brands in the world, is our parent company. STRIDE was founded in 2017 and is the 8th and newest brand in the portfolio. The 7 other brands include Club Pilates, Pure Barre, Cyclebar, Stretch Lab, Row House, Yoga Six and AKT. Xponential has decades of boutique fitness franchising experience across all brands and a proven success model. The expectation is that STRIDE will be the next big brand with the goal of 500+ locations similar to Club Pilates and Pure Barre.

    The General Manager will oversee ALL Studio functionality including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and all Studio Certified Run Coaches.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Manage lead generation, membership sales and retention

    Manage and grow all revenue streams: memberships & retail

    Manage studio budget, spending, and reporting

    Create and execute ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new client acquisition, activation, retention and loyalty

    Schedule/participate in Grassroots Marketing partnerships with businesses and community organizations on a weekly basis to drive new guest traffic

    Work with Studio Owner and Director of Education to optimize class schedule on an ongoing basis

    Recruit, hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor and terminate all studio staff (with support of Head Coach)

    Manage staff schedule

    Manage maintenance issues, inventory and cleanliness of studio

    Participate in studio, regional and company-wide meetings and trainings as needed

    Work closely with Studio Owner and National Sales Director to ensure health and profitability of the studio

    Social media management

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    An affinity and passion for fitness

    2+ years of retail sales or fitness sales experience

    Experience in hiring and supervising employees and managing teams successfully

    Extremely confident in generating personal sales and training other staff in sales

    Ability to work independently and collaborate with Studio Owner

    Ability to manage and drive revenue streams: memberships & retail

    Strong customer service skills

    Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email

    Meets challenges head on and able to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment

    Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement

    Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

    Professional, punctual, reliable and neat

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information

    Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public

    Solid written and grammatical skills

    Proficiency with computers and Studio software

    Must be fluent in English

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

    May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time

    May be required to reach with hands and arms

    Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car

    Must be able to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations

    May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus

    Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

    This position offers a very competitive base salary; based on experience & performance

    Commission paid on sales

    GROWTH OPPORTUNITIESThe general manager will initially manage one studio, but the owners will be opening 2 additional studios in the Austin area with the expectation that the general manager will manage all 3 studios.
