STRUCTURE RESOURCES IS IMMEDIATELY SEEKING A HIGH-PERFORMING MATERIALS MANAGER.

Compensation:

• UP TO $30/H FOR QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS

Hours:

• 50 – 60 HOURS A WEEK
• MANDATORY WEEKEND HOURS

Requirements:

• Interviewing and selecting vendors to supply needed equipment for the project
• Negotiating, maintaining, and evaluating contracts for the project to ensure suppliers and vendors are complying with terms and conditions and work out agreements with suppliers for product delivery
• Maintaining and reviewing records of inventories, product performance, deliveries, costs, and items purchased on the project
• Purchase high-quality equipment, tools, and other materials needed for the project
• Arrange for safe transport of equipment.
• Ensure materials and parts in the supply chain meet the minimum requirements for quality assurance standards
• Place purchase orders
• Develop policies and procedures in the areas of procurement, inventory control, receiving, storage and distribution, of supplies throughout the project to maintain adequate supply levels throughout the project
• Interface directly with project managers in regards to materials that have been requested to ascertain specifications and need
• Coordinate the maintenance of supplies on the project
• Responsible for continuing programs of exploration for new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery
• Supervise, evaluate and coach staff members on the use of equipment and tools

 Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in a related role
• Knowledge of construction
• Service-oriented
• Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems
• Knowledgeable of forecasting and budgeting
• Ability to solve problems swiftly
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
