We are seeking a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will support the manufacturing operations of an industrial detergent products company. This is an active, on the floor position needing a person who may not be an expert in any one discipline; but who has ability to learn and operate proficiently and safely, whatever the task may be. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager for routine tasks, and to the Technical Director for special projects. All tools and materials are provided by the company.

Duties:
-Perform daily MRO activities of product manufacturing operation
-Source and coordinate outside MRO activities as needed
-Maintain and/ or coordinate repair of building and grounds
-Assist with new equipment systems installation
Requirments:
-Knowledge of electrical systems troubleshooting and maintenance from low voltage through 480V
-Knowledge of general mechanical systems including pumps, compressors and hydraulics
-Knowledge of fluid piping systems in a process environment
-Knowledge of programmable controllers and control systems
- Experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment preferred
-Lift truck experience preferred
-Basic computer proficiency desired (Internet, word processing, PM scheduling software)
