    STV, Inc. has a great opportunity for a Senior Site/Civil Engineer in our Buildings and Facilities Division at our Douglassville, PA office (located about 30 minutes northwest of King of Prussia, PA).  

    The candidate will be expected to take on a lead role for site/civil projects, mentor junior staff, engage with engineers and designers, project managers, and clients to deliver high quality projects on schedule. Essential duties for the senior civil engineering candidate will include project planning, aid with proposal preparation (technical scope development and discipline fee estimates) and other business development activities, preparation of permitting & construction documents, stormwater management and conveyance system design, site utilities, and soil erosion sediment control design for federal, state, and industrial projects located in Pennsylvania and throughout the country.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Successful candidates must possess:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
    • PE license (Pennsylvania or New Jersey license preferred but licensure in other state acceptable)
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in land development/site/civil design of commercial, educational, industrial and/or government facilities projects
    • Must be client focused and driven
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and staff to deliver technically sound projects on schedule and within budget
    • AutoCAD knowledge, Civil 3D experience required (microstation/InRoads experience plus)
    • Design experience in site planning, layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, and site utilities for building and/or facilities projects
    • A propensity to adapt to working in fast paced, diverse local & national projects and willingness to learn and grow
    • Ability to take on project responsibilities, and work independently as well as working with other team members
    • Knowledge of both Rational Method and TR-55 methodology for stormwater runoff calculations
    • Knowledge of interpreting local codes, ordinances, municipal/state permits and land development approvals and other design guidelines
    • Proven ability to complete tasks on time
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • LEED AP Certification, CPESC Certification a plus
    • Performing Quality Control Reviews
