  • Responsibilities

    Subtek Solutions is looking for a few eager individuals with previous electrical/mechanical assembly experience. An ideal individual would have some networking/communications experience as well.

    As the Electrical Assembly Tech, you will be primarily responsible for assembling electrical control panels, electrical boxes, and other mechanical assemblies.

    You will also support production by troubleshooting and setting updevice IP using local network equipment and executing procedures such as: cloning hard-drives, setting up windows 10/11, and using various software to setup devices and equipment.

    To be successful in this role an ideal candidate would have effective communication, software skills, organization, and the ability, and drive, to learn new things.

    Electrical Assembly Technician job details:

    · Learn and use many different computer programs.

    · Assemble electronic and mechanical equipment.

    · Cut, crimp, and label wires; solder joints as required; assemble gaskets, hardware, raceways and other hardware.

    · Use software to prepare customer devices including installing and setting up windows, assigning IP, and applying device defaults.

    · Understand electrical circuits; apply appropriate safety measures when testing panels, identify potential electrical hazards.

    · Use web browsers to safely research OEM equipment, software, and components.

    Electrical Assembly Technician Requirements:

    · Previous electrical assembly experience required; technician level experience preferred.

    · Equivalent Military Experience will be considered in absence of experience in a similar role.

    · Good computer proficiency and good typing skills required.

    · Ability to comprehend and learn new software and/or processes quickly.

    · Soldering experience and training highly recommended.

    · Outstanding work ethic; ability to work independently and collectively and ask for help when needed.

    · Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

    · Good organizational skills.

    Position Type: Hourly Typical Week: 40hrs/week (07:00am – 03:30pm) Work Days: M-F
