ABOUT THE POSITION
Sugar Sugar Hawaii (Kailua Boutique) is now hiring for the Store Managerposition! Are you driven to make a difference in the world starting at the community level? Your typical responsibilities will include customer service, visual merchandising, inventory tracking and loss prevention, setting goals for the team, managing the staff, creating and implementing meaningful projects & tasks, evaluating performance, solving and occasionally covering for schedule changes, managing IG content, and more! Candidates for this position will have experience in retail management.

REPONSIBILITIES
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the operations of one location. Your typical responsibilities include:
Regular communication with and direction from District Manager, the Owner, and the Chief Operations Officer
Meeting regularly with the District Manager, other Store Managers, and the Assistant Managers
Coordinating staff meetings & events, community outreach, marketing campaigns, etc.
Evaluating performance of staff, stores, and company overall
Training up-and-coming store managers and assistant managers
Ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and operational guidelines
Keeping employee training and operations manuals up to date
Taking a grass roots approach to merchandising the sales floor, talking with customers, and preventing loss
Implementing meaningful projects & tasks, both for in-reach and outreach
Assist in all other aspects of the business as required
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1 year of retail management experience (preferably at a boutique)
Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles
Strong understanding of store optimization techniques
Excellent team building and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
