LITIGATION TEAM ATTORNEY (IV) Business and IP Transaction/Litigation Law Firm in Dallas

ABOUT US AND THE JOB Dallas based fast-growing Business Litigation/Transaction Law Firm is eager to invite candidates to apply for an entry-level attorney position to become a new member of our growing team. This position requires a person with a positive attitude who will be willing to undertake whatever tasks need to be done to assist the firm’s teams. This is a high work-volume environment where client communication is key!

Job Type: Full-time Salary: DOE. Highly encouraged to negotiate. Benefits: After the probation period of three months, health insurance, retirement plan, PTO

COMPENSATION: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly

RESPONSIBILITIES: DUTIES:

• Legal research, motion drafting, discovery, pleadings, orders, and business transactions.
• Appearing for court hearings, oral arguments, mediations, and depositions.
• Supervision will be provided as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS:

• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Be a member in good standing with the respective State’s Bar Association.
• Abie to think logically and rationally.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Be a self-starter that wants to become an active member of a team.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail is a must!
• Be trustworthy, and understands the ethical obligations of confidentiality in all situations.
• IP knowledge a plus!
