    Full Time/ Part Time (over 30+ hours) We seek an organized and detail-oriented either full-time or part-time (over 30 hours/week) paralegal to become an integral role in our dynamic legal team. The candidate must be familiar with both state and federal procedures, understanding the litigation process in detail. The candidate will be managing legal assistants and be a case manager; Task including tracking our litigation dockets, calendaring, and keeping deadlines to streamline our firm’s caseload and keep clients fully apprised of case statuses.  Responsibilities: Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process servers Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings • Manage and ensure all documents are properly sorted in our case filing system for reference and are processed to aid the Litigation Team in their legal objectives. (Experience in preparation of hearing folders and trial folders are preferred) • Keep the Firm calendar updated by calculating litigation deadlines, case timelines, hearing dates, mediation schedules, and other requisite deadlines in accordance with local rules, state rules, court orders, and client needs • Work with our Litigation Team to prepare for trial by conducting research, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings • Assist our Litigation Team in the initial preparation of legal documents including correspondence, transaction forms and schedules, discovery instruments, subpoenas, deposition notices, pleadings, proposed orders, motions, responses, appendices, and affidavits • Coordinate the firm’s needs with courts, vendors, and expert witnesses for hearings, service of process, depositions, and subpoenas • Prepare the Litigation Team for hearings and trials by preparing exhibits and appendices, and by organizing briefs, evidence, motions, and orders in hearing/trial folders Qualifications: • At least 3 years of experience with a law firm or in an administrative setting • Excellent time-management and organizational skills • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills • High standards in written work production • Thoroughness, persistence, consistency, and detail-orientation • Preference for formal paralegal certification or education • Comfortable with technology; ability to adapt to new software and workflows • Positive and motivated attitude Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 yearly
