Job Description

This position is project-based and expected to last about 6 month to help complete a project in process mapping of the build of industrial machinery.

The responsibilities of this position are:

• Develop time standards for specific tasks by recording installation time
• Document necessary hardware throughout the build and work with Engineering department to update assembly drawings
• Create work instructions for various parts of the build. Identify key quality standards or assembly notes to be added to assembly drawings.

• Identify additional process improvement initiatives to help streamline the assembly process.

• Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
