Job Description
Seeking an EDI / Rhapsody Integration Developer with solid knowledge of the Rhapsody Mapping and Integration software. You will be responsible for completing EDI implementation tasks by helping to develop EDI transactions and support them in production.
The resource will be responsible for developing, and delivering completed mapping projects quickly, accurately and autonomously.
In this role the resource will be responsible to:
- Design, develop / map, test, and support EDI maps using Rhapsody mapping translation software.
- Serve as the main point of contact to key stakeholders keeping them apprised of progress, issues, changes, status, timelines, and other issues.
- Work across the organization to gather requirements, research issues and create solutions for trading partners and key departmental contacts.
- Create and update technical specifications and other documentation
- Complete EDI implementation tasks with precise attention to detail.
- Support other Rhapsody EDI and integration based initiatives and tasks as required.
- This position's main objective is to develop, coordinate, implement, and manage all EDI-related developments for electronic laboratory results and electronic case reports objectives.
- Will responsible for analyzing and designing specifications used for enhancements and extensions in EDI applications, interfaces, and mappings.
- Will coordinate all EDI testing, and on-boarding. Additionally, the EDI specialist serves as the primary link between client and any data-trading partners.
- The EDI specialist's day-to-day responsibilities include establishing contact with trading partners, analyzing the data exchanged with any partners, observing data records to record any errors, and correcting any failures. EDI specialists work with employees at all levels of their organization to support accurate, proper data exchanges within the organization.
- Will assist with any testing to observe and interpret messages received and offer updates to their supervisor.
Additional Qualifications:
- Rhapsody Integration Engine v.6
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with public health managers, and disease surveillance staff as well as other public health trading partners.
- Experience with MS SQL: Develop reports and adhoc queries using SQL.
- Ability to make good judgments in demanding situations
- Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with ease and efficiency.5 years' experience in EDI mapping and development.
- Experience in mapping in the Healthcare industry is required.
- 3 years' experience with Rhapsody Mapping software.
- Knowledge of (HL7, FHIR, CDA, XML, HIPAA).
- Communication protocol experience such as sFTP.
- Experience mapping to a variety of standards and formats is required.
- Ability to properly manage projects, priorities, timelines, and partner expectations in a fast-paced environment while working remotely.
- A Rhapsody certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal is required for this position.
To be successful at ADHS you should possess a demonstrable track record of experience in EDI, EAI, or B2B Integration using tools and technologies listed above, and at a level of experience commensurate with the type of position desired.
You must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
A detailed understanding of EDI, EAI, or B2B Data Integration commensurate with the level of work desired is required allowing that depth of understanding required will vary based upon the need, position, project, or role.
The selected resource will be required to go onsite for the first day. Anyone submitted must be willing to go onsite. The position will primarily be worked remotely after that until the agency returns to working in the office. At that time the expectation is that they will work 100% in the office.
