    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Aftermarket Sales Engineer will manage a region of accounts in the US/Canada or Latin America or other international regions and will be responsible for maximizing sales revenue with existing customers as well as developing new customers.

    This position will involve a high degree of sales strategies and planning.

    This role is suited to a confident and organized sales professional who identifies new markets, develops and manages sales objectives in support of the Corporate revenue plans, and should have a good understanding of selling After Sales products, which includes spare parts, shop repairs and field services, as well as system modifications and upgrades, of an installed base of process gas compressor systems and packages, comprising of screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, centrifugal compressors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, filter systems, lubrication systems, motors, control systems, etc. This position has substantial discretion, autonomy and independence in the execution of his/her duties, decisions and/or responsibilities.

    CORE FUNCTIONS:

    • Identify target markets, customers and opportunities, make sales calls and conduct business meetings to win new aftermarket business. Act as the primary liaison between customers and cross-functional team members to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions to support our customer’s needs. Proactively assess and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
    • Develop long-term relationships with new customers, while fostering a stronger relationship with existing clients. Develop total customer satisfaction and customer support. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
    • Exhibit the ability to address and resolve customer-related issues. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
    • Prepare sales reports involving the collection and analysis of sales information. Forecast and monitor key account metrics weekly/monthly/quarterly. Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives. Attend weekly sales meetings.
    • Execute sales strategies and business plans for the Aftermarket business to achieve growth. Prepare sales strategy and analysis for the region of responsibility. Identify new products and solutions that would help grow and increase sales.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

    • _ B.S. in Engineering_ (Mechanical, Chemical, etc.) and/or Business or combined education and experience.
    • _ 3 - 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Development_.
    • _ **Experience in Oil & Gas, Powergen, Refinery, and/or Petrochemical industries. **_
    • Previous engineering/technical experience with gas compressors or rotating equipment is desirable.
    • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently, and in a team atmosphere.

    TRAVEL:

    50% - 70% of the time, mostly overnight travel, mainly region of responsibility.
