Senior Pricing Specialist

Location: Lincolnshire, IL (Not fully remote so please don't ask)

Job Introduction

Under the direction of Global Pricing Manager, execute the strategy to maintain and drive business growth and profitability in product, while meeting corporate objectives.

Role Responsibility

• Assess the need for and develop analytical tools.
• Assist Global Pricing Manager in the implementation of new processes and tools
• Perform market analysis reviews (competitive landscape and pricing) as needed
• Review and create cost modeling for new and existing business.
• Coordinate pricing activities for Key Account Management
• Coordinate data with Product Line Managers globally
• Support special projects
• Preparing and presenting pricing analysis findings to executives, marketing teams, and sales staff

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or another business-related field
• Technical aptitude and strong business acumen
• 3-5 years in a pricing specific role in a similar industry
• Strong understanding of manufacturing costs and supply chain activities
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues throughout the organization
• Ability to analyze data, infer information and produce reports
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
