Job Description

SVD Solutions is now seeking a qualified security-focused professional for an immediate fill position for a US federal client. This position requires the candidate to have an active TS clearance prior to accepting the position. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with federal compliance, including FISMA and NIST, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and processes/policy supporting Continuous Monitoring.  Experience with traditional C&A/A&A compliance packages is preferred. Qualifications

Position is near the Linthicum, MD area.

• MUST CURRENTLY POSSESS AND MAINTAIN AN ACTIVE US TOP SECRET CLEARANCE & MUST BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) POLYGRAPH
• MUST HAVE CURRENT CISSP, other certifications a plus
• Must have experience with NIST SP-800 series, FISMA, Risk Management Framework and processes/policy supporting Continuous Monitoring
• Preference given to applicants with relevant security certifications
• Must have exceptional writing capabilities on technical and process security controls
• Must be able to articulate risk mitigations and answer IT Security questions in a professional manner
• Must have at least 4 years working in an IT Security role
• Experience with traditional C&A/A&A work is valuable
• Experience working with the Intelligence Community is a plus
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is a plus
