The Position

Closers review and prepare cleared loans for closing. They coordinate with external parties including settlement service providers and title companies, as well as the Underwriting and Funding Teams to ensure scheduled closings run smoothly for our borrowers. They are responsible for making sure each loan meets the company, investor, and industry requirements.

Closers are detail-oriented and have a strong working knowledge of the loan process and industry guidelines. Closers work closely with internal teams to close loans, and work with the Post Closing team as well.

Education

• High school diploma required
• College degree preferred

Experience

• Prior mortgage industry experience
• Strong understanding of the mortgage process from origination through closing
