This position is responsible for managing commercial portfolio risk, including the performance of periodic loan reviews, loan modifications, and assists with special assets. Provides expertise that delivers high quality standards exceptional customer experiences and complies with applicable regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities | To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully
Manage and oversee loan portfolios and assess the ongoing credit risk and quality in partnership with clients.
Responsible for on-time completion of annual loan reviews, loan modifications, and other credit requests.
Monitor loan portfolios to maintain delinquencies, liquidations, and charge offs within acceptable limits as determined by Management.
Analyze personal and business financials to evaluate repayment ability along with other factors to complete a risk assessment.
Responsible for compilation of data and interprets outcomes of analysis, utilizing sound credit underwriting skills to recommend a credit disposition.
Recommend modifications and workouts in accordance with commercial lending or SBA policies and regulations, subject to approval of supervisory delegated authority.
Review loan documentation to determine perfection of lien and ensure claims against borrowers and guarantors are valid.
Adhere to timelines and deadlines established based on client needs and department workflow.
Provides prompt responses addressing client needs.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial loan portfolio management is required.
EDUCATION: A four-year college degree in a related business field, or equivalent work experience is required.
TRAVEL: This position requires occasional travel.
COMPUTER/OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS: Intermediate to advanced skills in the following: Computer operating skills (Windows navigation, mouse/keyboard functionality), Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced CASH Suite (or other similar analysis software, i.e. Moody’s and Sageworks, etc.).
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write routine PRESENTATIONS, reports, and correspondence.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, regulations, and legal documents.
