Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Technology Roadmap: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for production applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the evaluation, selection, implementation, and enhancement of mortgage technology platforms, including LOS (Loan Origination Systems), POS (Point of Sale), servicing systems, and underwriting platforms.
- Application Management & Optimization: Lead the administration, integration, and optimization of mission-critical applications supporting mortgage origination and servicing.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of production systems through proactive monitoring and performance tuning.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Build and lead a high-performing team of application managers, developers, and analysts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mortgage operations, risk, compliance, and customer experience, to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
- Provide detailed reports and roadmap for Senior Management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 10 years focused on enterprise applications in the mortgage industry.
- Deep expertise in mortgage origination and servicing systems (e.g., Encompass, Empower, Black Knight MSP, Blend, ICE Mortgage Technology).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technology transformations in a financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of mortgage loan origination, processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing workflows.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, API integrations, and data analytics in mortgage applications.
