    JOB SUMMARY

    The SVP Strategy will be responsible for leading marketing efforts to build and drive future growth across the PV product portfolio while working closely with the CCO, CTO and COO leadership team, and cross functional leaders throughout the organization. This role will be responsible for directing and ensuring appropriate alignment of the marketing and promotional strategies globally with a large focus on engagement, market intelligence and launch excellence.

    The SVP Strategy  will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives and new product launches for our portfolio, This role is crucial in driving market adoption, brand awareness, and revenue growth by aligning marketing strategies with product development and commercialization plans.

    The SVP Strategy will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Marketing, to ensure cohesive and impactful product introductions and marketing campaigns and will work collaboratively to define and implement a marketing strategy to ensure commercial success.

    The SVP Strategy  reports to the Co-CEOs and sits on the executive leadership team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    The SVP Strategy is responsible for building and leading a team while overseeing strategic marketing, upstream and downstream responsibilities.

    Upstream Responsibilities: Serve as the upstream global marketing leader and partner with Program Manager to define and implement a marketing strategy to ensure commercial success.

    • Global new product development, indication expansion and approval timelines
    • Competitive threats
    • 2-year strategic planning
    • Coordination with Clinical Affairs on clinical evidence needs

    Downstream Responsibilities: Serve as the downstream global marketing leader and partner with Product Manager to define and implement a marketing strategy to ensure commercial success.

    • Marketing activities to achieve AOP revenue and spend (promotions, events, conferences, etc.)
    • KOL management / podium presence in coordination with Clinical Affairs
    • Post approval study coordination with Clinical Affairs
    • Physician and Fellows training
    • Pricing strategy, bundles
    • Medical education of physicians and staff

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

    Responsibilities/Essential Duties

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports the launch and growth of new products.
    • Lead the new product planning process, including market research, competitive analysis, and identification of unmet customer needs.
    • Collaborate with the R&D and Product Development teams to align marketing strategies with product development timelines and objectives.
    • Oversee the creation of go-to-market plans for new products, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and promotional strategies.
    • Manage marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and events, to drive product awareness and adoption.
    • Coordinate with marketing team to ensure strategies are effectively localized and executed.
    • Partner with sales leaders to direct/advise and create sales initiatives by leading regional marketing, advertising, communications materials and strategy implementation to achieve the Interventional Technologies product marketing objectives.
    • Ensures superior sales support to achieve or exceed targets.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, industry partners, and stakeholders to support product launches and marketing initiatives.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and new product launches, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
    • Develop market insights including but not limited to competitive landscape, market trends and growth drivers, pricing strategies, market access and value delivery.
    • Lead the development and execution of launch plan(s) and deliver on post-launch performance tracking and business insights. Identify commercial business risks or critical issues and recommend innovative customized strategies to mitigate.
    • Develop and refine customer segmentation and targeting, including market assessments for strategic planning and AOP.
    • Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the marketing and product planning team.
    • Collaborate and manage the product positioning and messages, development of a branded campaign, creation of end user personas and promotional KPIs.
    • Gather market insights, conduct VoC and partner across the portfolio to identify and align the needs that differentiate the PV solutions.

Have the ability to conduct investigative analyses for a given issue and lead a team to developing a solution/conclusion in an efficient and effective manner

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's Degree - B.S. or B.A.

    Master's Degree

    MBA or additional education in life sciences discipline preferred

    EXPERIENCE

    • 10 + years Marketing experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or other areas of life sciences, with a proven record of high performance and consistent results.
    • Previous PV experience in a marketing, sales and product management role strongly preferred.
    • Life sciences' product in-line marketing and launch/product commercialization experience are required
    • Must have strong social skills, maturity, and be capable of presenting ideas and concepts to a diverse range of individuals
    • Excellence in additional professional competencies including collaborative and cross functional problem solving and communications, innovative thinking, sense of urgency, and a passion for helping patients and their communities are critical
