SVS Group is currently looking to hire Remote Mortgage Loan Underwriters to work for one of our best Mortgage Clients. You will have typical Frontline Mortgage Underwriting job duties to include:

• Manual Underwriting, Self Employed Borrowers, Tax Analysis, Signing Authority of 750k +
• Ability to analyze and calculate all income types (wage earner, retirement, self-employed, non-traditional earners)
• Analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the risk involved in extending credit or lending money
• Evaluate the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans, read and interpret AUS Results
• Communicate loan decisions to appropriate parties verbally and in writing
• Document and review all necessary financial information and documentation
• Prepare reports based on the results from the risk analysis for use in decision-making
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily goals
• All other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of recent front-line mortgage loan underwriting experience
• Must have strong Manual Underwriting Experience.
• Demonstrated, proven experience in front-line, conventional, Non-QM, Jumbo, and Portfolio loan underwriting
• Experience working with conventional, DU, LP and manual underwriting (Most loans will require manual underwriting)
• Compliance to investor guidelines and mortgage regulatory updates
• Thorough knowledge of underwriting policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently in a remote work at home environment
