Are you called to children's ministry? Join us for a transformative year of ministry, mentorship, and hands-on leadership development through the SVkids One-Year Ministry Residency. This program is designed for individuals who feel called to invest in the next generation and desire deeper ministry training within a gospel-centered, Southern Baptist church.

Position Type:

One-Year Residency

Part-Time: Up to 30 hours/week

What You’ll Do:

Serve in all aspects of SVkids ministry (birth–5th grade)

Help lead weekly programming, VBS, camps, and special events

Assist in curriculum development, large group teaching, and small group leadership

Recruit, equip, and encourage volunteers

Build relationships with kids and families, providing spiritual encouragement

Support discipleship initiatives and help foster a culture of multiplying disciples

Participate in regular team meetings, leadership training, and planning sessions

What We’re Looking For:

A spiritually mature believer with a strong walk with Jesus

A member or active participant in a Southern Baptist church

Someone who is teachable, dependable, and ministry-minded

Experience working with children or in a church setting is a plus
