LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT - DESIGNER (3-5 YEARS)

SWA Group, a leader in Landscape Architecture, Planning, and Urban Design, has a full-time opening for a knowledgeable designer to join the firm's dynamic Laguna Beach studio. Applicant must have 3 to 5 years' professional experience.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Landscape Architecture

2. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, Revit, Microsoft Office, and other advanced rendering platforms

3. Strong design skills, ability to hand sketch, and attention to detail

4. Effective time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at a time, meet strict deadlines, with problem solving skills

5. Strong communication skills

6. General familiarity with the practices of an international design firm

Successful candidates should be well rounded and have experience with design, project management, design development, and construction documents. This person will work in a project team environment during all phases of design, from conceptual design through construction observation. Candidates should be innovative, have strong ideas, a responsible work ethic, and be proficient in hand and digital graphics. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with clients, sub-consultants, and peers in a responsible and professional manner.
