    Swift Passport and Visa Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative to administer our telephone services.   Swift Passport and Visa Services is a rapidly growing passport and visa expediting service based in Chicago. Our dynamic organization is seeking a special individual who can act as the first point of contact with the public, and set the tone for the positive experience we aim to provide for each of our clients. This friendly and outgoing individual will need to enjoy a fast-pace environment and be able to respond quickly to variety of situations. Our team cultivates a warm and fun work environment; we are seeking the right person to join us!

    A successful telephone customer service representative will need to be quick on his/her feet and be able to interact comfortably with our clients over the phone. This person will need to be a good listener who can quickly establish what is needed in a variety of situations and respond swiftly. This individual needs to be comfortable and confident in acting as an ambassador of our brand. The successful candidate will have superior customer service skills and problem solving abilities. They will use their upbeat personality to start each client’s service out on the right foot!

    Duties Include:

    • Delivering the best customer service at all times
    • Answering phones from 10am to 6pm CST
    • Emailing follow up instructions to callers
    • Transferring calls to other team members
    • Answering general questions about passport and visa services
    • Problem solving/quick thinking

    Skills required:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience answering phones in a call center environment
    • You must really enjoy being on the phone and helping people
    • Patience
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Experience with web-based technology, quick learner with technology, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products, salesforce.com, MaxOS
    • Outgoing personality; must be good at putting stressed out individuals to ease and putting out fires effectively, when necessary
    • Interest and above average knowledge of travel/travel industry 
    • High school diploma
    • Candidates will need to successfully complete a criminal background check

    The starting salary for this position is $33,000 with benefits, including health, dental, short and long term disability insurance and 401k plan among other amenities.  Our office offers a progressive casual work atmosphere, convenient to public transportation and many of the perks of working in the Loop.  The Swift Passport and Visa Services team is looking to grow and flourish with the right player on our team!
