Position Overview
KIPP Indy is seeking a passionate and engaging high school teacher to lead courses in College & Career Readiness and Personal Finance. This role is responsible for delivering rigorous, real-world instruction that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully navigate postsecondary pathways and make informed financial decisions.
The ideal candidate is deeply committed to preparing students for life beyond high school by building competencies in goal setting, college and career exploration, financial literacy, and long-term planning. This teacher will foster independence, critical thinking, and responsible decision-making while supporting students in developing clear, actionable plans for their futures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Instruction & Student Learning
Alignment to KIPP Forward
Align classroom instruction to the postsecondary readiness goals and systems established by the KIPP Forward team
Reinforce key milestones such as college awareness, career exploration, and financial literacy within daily instruction
Collaborate with KIPP Forward staff to ensure consistency in messaging, expectations, and student supports
Support students in building the knowledge and skills needed to engage meaningfully in KIPP Forward programming

Additional Information
Licensed teacher starting at $50,000
