Synergy Medical Services is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for Escambia County/Santa Rosa County to join our team. Be a part of a team that is well-versed in providing patients with the tools they need to live their happiest, healthiest lives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for treating patients with therapeutic and self-care activities

• Assist in evaluation and development of a rehabilitative plan of care and in periodic re-evaluation as required.

• Perform routine strengthening and therapeutic exercises and assists the patient with the use of self-help devices.

• Teaching patients, family members or other caregivers skills and techniques to help with the patients’ treatment program

• Encouraging the patient during their recovery process

• Helping patients to improve their quality of life by finding solutions to their problems

• Helping injured patients improve their motor skills with the goal of re-entering the workforce

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Graduate from a Physical Therapy Assistant Program

• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn quickly

• Physical Therapy Assistant License

• Current State Licensure

• Current CPR certification

• Home Health experience a plus
