Job Description
_ Position Summary_
This is an individual contributor position in the North American market that supports and guides the sales activities of Syntegon Packaging’s Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Product Group for both standard and complex automated packaging solutions, primarily to the food market. Specifically, this position supports the coffee market including coffee valves _ ._
_ Key Responsibilities_
Develop and grow sales for Horizontal, Secondary and Vertical Systems via direct interaction with customers in an assigned region
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal business units, and other stakeholders to understand the needs and provide tailored packaging solutions
Act as consultant to the customer to provide insight into systems design, machine recommendations and package formats that the customer may need
Collaborate with internal resources to conduct presentations and demonstrations that educate customers on the features and benefits of our packaging equipment
Collaborate with key people within Syntegon such as Service, Project Management and Engineering to ensure a smooth sales process
Provide business unit experts and Company leadership access to customers for product presentation, closing orders, market feedback, customer feedback, etc
Support projects as necessary for successful execution
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to promote our brand and generate leads
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activities, and market developments to identify potential opportunities and threats.
Travel a minimum of 50% of time per year both domestically and internationally
Wear personal protective equipment as necessary

The expected compensation range for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000 per year plus commission and is based on a full-time schedule.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At Syntegon compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
