The Electrical Engineering Manager is an integral role in Syntegon’s success in leading the world’s packaging machinery market.
In this role, the manager is leading and developing a great team of software and electrical engineers, working on process excellence and supporting the business with technical and product guidance for concepts and solutions to meet our customer’s high expectations. This is a fast pace, dynamic and team centric work environment that requires self-motivation and independence paired with empowerment to be impactful for the organization.

Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in automated packaging or similar capital equipment (e.g. Rockwell Automation, Beckhoff Automation, Software & Hardware).
Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology.
Must have at least 8+ years of work experience in an Engineering discipline.
Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience supervising or managing a team of engineers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in engineering or MBA a plus.
Excellent leadership, decision making, and communication skills.
Strong team orientated, along with strong organizational and time management skills, analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven performance in similar role.
Ability to prioritize tasks and resources.
Ability to motivate teams in order to achieve required objectives. Ability to collaborate with many other teams.
Confident personality with strong customer service.
