JOB OPENING: Member Service Representative/Teller
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Member Service Representatives greet members, perform teller transactions over-the-counter and by phone, answer member account and financial questions and inform members about credit union services, financial education and asset-building opportunities. SHOULD BE ABLE TO WORK TWO SATURDAYS A MONTH AND UNTIL 6:30 PM ON WEEKDAYS. CASH HANDLING OR RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. BILINGUAL A PLUS. This is a full-time position (approximately 38 hours/week). Member Service Representatives play a key role in helping members and potential members understand the wide array of services, education, and counseling we provide.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
QUALIFICATIONS: At least one year of cash handling experience and customer service experience required. Should be enthusiastic about our mission of serving the underserved and working for community development. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SOME SATURDAYS (9:30 AM TO 2:00 PM) AND UNTIL 6:30 PM ON WEEKDAYS.

$15.00 per hour is base pay, with $.25 incentives each for bilingual and notary service, and there is a pay raise structure based on skills and experience developed on the job.
