We are seeking an experienced AWS Support Engineer to join our team and provide monitoring and support for our production operations. As an AWS Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of our applications and infrastructure deployed on AWS.
Provide operational support for our AWS-based production environments.
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and availability of critical services.
Manage and maintain AWS resources including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, Lambda functions, DynamoDB tables, Aurora databases, and Athena.
Implement and manage automated monitoring and alerting using AWS CloudWatch and other tools.
Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate operational tasks and deployments.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure smooth deployments.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support for production systems.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
8+ Years of Overall experience
4 years of experience in AWS .
operational monitoring, issues identification and resolution,
Proactive alerts to set up if there are any operations issues using New Relic and VictorOps (Splunk) tools background .
AWS Suite is MUST
DevOps is added advantage
Mainframe knowledge is Plus
Any AI/ML is added advantage… as these profiles are going to work down the line on AI/ML for predictive analysis and reporting.
MSTR is another advantage
Mandatory
3 Years of US Residency is Mandatory
Visa Status: H1B
Experience with other AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, API Gateway, or Kinesis.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
