    Job Description

    As a Market Insight Analyst, you work closely with the Connection & Strategy Department in developing and implementing research and analysis plans to generate relevant and useable insights that help strategists identify and solve issues in the marketplace and create strategies that help generate awareness of and excitement for the client’s brand. 

    Success for this position is measured by the ability to perform analytical analysis utilizing both bespoke and syndicated research databases, manage outside research vendors to create a fluid research experience for the Strategic Planners, and work hand in hand with the Strategic Planners to create insights based on both qualitative and quantitative research. 

    An ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, and use cases for qualitative and quantitative research methods, experience with multiple quantitative data analysis techniques, and have 3+ years of research experience in an advertising, media, or market research.

    Roles and Responsibilities include:

    ·         Collaborate with client and internal teams throughout various research projects 

    ·         Work closely with vendors to manage the day-to-day of custom studies 

    ·         Conduct various analyses using primary and syndicated research to inform stakeholders of industry landscape

    ·         Partner closely with Market Insights Manager and Strategic Planning to

    synthesize data into actionable insights through story-driven presentations

    ·         Stay up to date on the latest vendors, methods, and tools – provide recommendations to the team 

    ·         The ability and willingness to travel as required 

    ·         Other duties as assigned 

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE:

    ·         3+ years of agency research experience, via either a research-heavy strategy role or research-specific role.

    ·         Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree

    ·         Proven thought-leadership on high profile brands with work you’re happy to brag about

    ·         A track record of innovative and provocative thinking  

    ·         Experience with data analysis and qual/quant research and have ability to see and adapt insights

    ·         The desire and ability to translate data into visual, actionable story-driven reports.

    ·         Strong attention to detail, with the ability to also see and act on the big picture.

    ·         Verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and presentation skills should be best in class
