As a Budget Analyst, you work closely with the Cost Control team on the current statuses of all production jobs in order to provide the most current and accurate spend analysis to our clients. This role will also require close communication with the Production team as they will advise on current spend to the budget of each job. Success for this position is measured by the ability to manage an extensive budget report and ensure timely and accurate cost reporting to the client. The budget report will require up-to-date data on spending by model, time period and media type. Also, a monthly accrual is submitted to the client in which they rely on accuracy for their quarterly reforecasting. This is accomplished by understanding the production process and the ability to generate various cost reports. A strong partnership with Production and Idea Management teams are key for this role. An ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills and have a minimum of 3 years of general accounting experience. Candidate experience should include: * Ability to manage and meet all client deadlines * Attention-to-detail; demonstrates a high degree of accuracy * Enthusiastic about numbers and understanding the business stories within them * Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize workload and multi-task * Working well in a collaborative, team environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to be assertive while maintaining professionalism * Ability to use good judgment when making business decisions * Bachelors Degree required * Experience in advertising a plus
