    Job Description

    We’re looking for a curious individual with foresight, passion, and a collaborative spirit who will partner with our clients and guide our creative team to deliver strategic and innovative campaigns that drive growth for our clients and SSX. 

    The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ work experience in marketing, advertising, or digital strategy. CPG and/or retailer experience is a plus. Knowledge of mainstream programs and desk research skills is required.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally
    • Develop shopper profiles, shopping journey assessments, and apply other SSX tools and models to advance internal and external shopper understanding
    • Ability to analyze and synthesize data into actionable insights
    • Craft strategic & actionable insights that drive impactful and resonant creative
    • Contribute to strategic business presentations that reflect insightful shopper strategy
    • Consult to ensure the creative product communicates clearly and links back to the brief’s insights and strategy
    • Execute desk research which includes gathering and analyzing data, both qualitative and quantitative, via SSX’s primary and secondary sources as well as general searches.
    • Participate in and, where appropriate, lead the brainstorming process
    • Stay on top of business, consumer, retail, cultural, shopper, and digital trends
    • Be a reliable and consistent contributor to agency initiatives, representing the shopper’s voice
    • Ability to effectively interface with internal and external stakeholders, including clients
    • Assist strategy leadership in implementation of departmental objectives
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1-3 years experience as a Strategist or Planner or Intern experience as a Strategist or Planner
    • Basic knowledge of secondary research data sources; ability to navigate and extract baseline insights.
    • Working understanding of digital, mobile, online, social media vehicles
    • Strong writing ability
    • Creates impactful presentation stories
    • Quickly able to master the agency’s processes and products
    • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
    • Curious consumer of knowledge – ability to keep up with marketing / digital trends
    • Background working in an agency environment (desired but not required)
    • Experience in Retail, Brand or CPG (desired but not required)

    Additional Information

    Compensation Range: $51,000 - $75,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
