JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building core infrastructure components that powers our engineering and data science groups. You will also be entrusted to work with Product and Engineering to iterate over designs and ideas.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Python or Javascript.
• 3+ years of professional experience building and running workloads in AWS.
• Proficiency in Database design.
• Strong experience in one or more database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS Redshift, Hadoop, Elasticsearch.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Be a champion of Engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with Geospatial technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in IaC tools like AWS CDK, Terraform, etc.
• Familiarity with modern front-end CI/CD pipelines.
