    Job Description

    ABOUT SADONY CREATIVE: Sadony Creative is a small design firm primarily focused on Furniture. Our team is currently 7 people strong. We work closely with our clients to provide them with everything they need to produce our designs.

    With design being such a collaborative process, we are an in-person firm. We are all fully vaccinated and boosted and will expect anyone joining our team to be as well. Because we are a small firm we are all friends. We have a weekly happy hour along with a couple of annual get-togethers.

    OVERVIEW: We are looking for the right personality fit and are open to different skill sets that make sense. Our ideal candidate will be working closely with our team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop models in Autodesk Inventor and Blender as needed

    • Assists in the development and maintenance modeling and drawings standards

    • Researching the market to understand what is needed for future clients or understanding competition products and how we can achieve a similar cost goal

    • Maintaining notes on objectives or revisions in project management software in order to keep the team in the loop

    • Develops engineered solutions in support of customers unique product needs

    REQUIRED/PREFERRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:

    • Furniture background is preferred

    • Good technical understanding of case-good and upholstered product construction and manufacturing techniques

    • CAD skills (AutoCAD is what we use)

    • Strong parametric modeling skills (prefer Autodesk Inventor)

    • Blender Modeling skills are preferred

    • We are a Mac and Windows office and working knowledge of both is preferred

    • Adobe Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat

    • Strong ability to create visual presentation documents

    • Working knowledge of Keyshot or other rendering software

    • Concept Sketching/Ideation preferred but not required

    • Ability to effectively communicate and maintain professional relationships
