Exclusively retained, Saenger Associates is on the hunt for a for a Director/VP Motion Technology for our client, an international, multi-disciplined products manufacturer with a high-achieving culture.

Reporting to the Senior Business Unit Executive, this is a comprehensive role with direct and matrixed responsibility across key areas of the electronics engineering business unit, providing leadership for business strategy, business expansion, engineering, new product development, and manufacturing excellence.  

WHAT QUALIFIES YOU?

• Your robust background in electrical engineering and consumer electronics products

• Understanding of components involved in highly engineered electronics products within a high-volume design and production environment (electrical, mechanical, mobile app, firmware, test, network, etc.)

• As a “big picture” planner, you are the mastermind from concept to design to the finished product life cycle

• Your emphasis on business expansion and increasing market share

• You know your way around a manufacturing plant, including equipment, mass production processes, quality, testing and are experienced in developing electronics products

• At ease on the plant floor, at the same time, align within an executive setting and can work collaboratively with P&L owners, marketers, and customers

• Reside in the Western USA; must hold current or be eligible to obtain a US passport as some international travel may be required

• Must hold a degree in Engineering /Master’s degree
