  • Responsibilities

    As an Office Assistant, you are the friendly face of Saf-T-Swim both on and off the phone. You are responsible for delivering top line sales through customer outreach, converting leads and customer incoming calls. You are expected to interact with all customers, students, and staff members in an upbeat and positive manner, creating a welcoming environment that supports the Saf-t-Swim Brand standard. You are a knowledgeable resource for all our Saf-T-Swim programs and products, and you are the driving sales force from the initial inquiry to the close of the sale.

    Responsibilities

    Possess a working knowledge of all programs and products offered, scheduling, pricing, and recommend merchandise add-ons. Promote the sale of merchandise and electronic gift cards.

    Convert leads into registrations and encourage registration for new and current customers by asking open-ended questions to determine customer needs, making appropriate product package recommendations and overcoming customer objections with additional information.

    Establish an ongoing relationship with customers to drive long term enrollment through consistent communication and being well informed regarding their child’s lesson progress.

    Confirm all current customers are scheduled far enough in advance to promote full schedules.

    Maintain a calm professional demeanor when faced with customer dissatisfaction by gracefully diffusing the disgruntled customer’s concerns and objections and escalate to a manager or supervisor when unable to resolve customer issues.

    Ensure all current and past registration forms are completed with all required information and signatures and process financial transactions in a timely manner in our systems.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Bilingual/Spanish speaking required.

    Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft products.

    Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and/or holidays.

    Have a clear pleasant voice, a cheerful disposition and possess strong communication skills; conscientious, enjoy sales, outgoing, quick learner, assertive, efficient and strong problem solver.

    Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

    Wear professional attire and be well-groomed.

    Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the US.
