    We’re seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Currently, we need someone who can help us take control of the front-end client experience by being the first point of contact with the firm, preparing legal documents, and providing general administrative support. Ideally, you will have experience as a Legal Assistant, but we are willing to train the right service-minded office professional. The most important quality you can possess is a great attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever it’s needed. Compensation and Benefits: • Competitive base salary depending on experience and qualifications • Opportunities for bonuses, incentives, and performance-based increases • A healthy team culture that values work-life balance • Paid time off (15 days plus holidays that fall on weekdays) • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Employer matched retirement account • A beautiful, new office location Responsibilities: Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues • Greet all potential and existing clients with a warm, friendly welcome • Communicate with people on the phone, in person, and by email • Build relationships with different types of personalities and all levels of authority • Schedule appointments and manage calendars • Prepare legal documents • Perform basic administrative tasks – draft documents, copy, scan, file • Manage paper and electronic files • Back up team members when they need a hand or a day off • Maintain practice and client confidentiality Qualifications: Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills • You must be available to work in the office Monday – Friday • You must have strong administrative skills and be detail-oriented • You must be comfortable working with various computer programs, databases, and systems • You must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain strict confidentiality • You don’t think making coffee or getting our guests a beverage is beneath you • You must be a positive, high-energy team player who is results-oriented Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
