We are offering great flexibility regarding the working hours for the position including day and evening shifts as well as full and part-time hours are available. Our hours of operation are Mon-Sat 8 am - 10 pm. (MST). ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Responsible for initiating and handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a busy call center environment with the goal of resolving and saving accounts of customers who have communicated a desire to cancel their alarm monitoring agreements with the company. • Responsible for the handling and management of calls in the cancel queue log on a primarily outbound basis. • Responsible for acquiring and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s policies, procedures and guidelines with respect to the strategies which may be employed to save and resolve accounts who have expressed a wish to cancel their agreements with the company. • Responsible for coordinating with other departments including but not limited to billing, technical services, field service, inventory etc. for the purpose of resolving issues with customers. • Responsible for understanding the parameters which may be employed to save accounts including but not limited to the offering of certain technical services and/or the issuance of credit for free monitoring services for a given period of time. • Responsible for the thorough and effective documentation of all steps taken or attempted to be taken to resolve a customer’s issues and to save a customer’s account. • The general expectation for this position is that 10% of the accounts that requested canceled will be retained but the goal of the position of to Save 20%. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • A minimum of one to two years related customer service experience. • Must have very effective communication and interpersonal skills • Must have an excellent command of the English language
