Direct Support Professional
Safe and Secure Healthcare is a home care agency that provides a wide range of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide support in the areas of: health and hygiene, community integration, mobility and communication, and social. Qualifications:
Must be 18 years old
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting and background checks.
Valid Driver’s License and driving record is required.
Essential Duties:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (DSTL). DSTL includes bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, eating, hygiene needs, etc.
Encourage clients to participate in activities that include but are not limited to group activities, family events, music, dance, painting, crafts, etc.
Provide assistance with transportation to and from appointments within the community.
Record the client's progress using an electronic computer system.
Maintain a clean and safe environment in all aspects of your job.
Communicate with the care team about the progress and needs of your clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
